Shipping Costs

Insect Designs ships all parcels using Australia Post, so all shipments can be tracked in case there are any delivery problems. The total postage is calculated during the checkout process. Final freight cost depends on the size of your order, and the shipping destination. Orders valued over $180 attract free standard shipping.

Insect specimens do not weigh much, so generally you will pay the same regardless of how many items you order. This is because Australia Post has minimum costs for certain sized boxes and orders rarely go over the minimum. 

Delivery

Insect Designs uses its best efforts to meet the scheduled delivery time, but cannot guarantee to meet those delivery times in every case. Insect Designs will not have any liability to you if any part of your order fails to satisfy in whole or in part the scheduled delivery time.

Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of receipt of the order using Australia Post. If there is a large volume of orders, this may take slightly longer, but Insect Designs will do its best to get your order prepared as soon as possible. Delivery times are then 1 to 5 business days depending on your location within Australia and Australia Post delivery times. You will be given a tracking number to track your parcel.

International Orders are sent via Australia Post International Parcels, and delivery is typically 5 – 15 business days. When placing orders for insect specimens from countries other than Australia, it is the responsibility of the customer placing the order to determine whether the said goods are subject to any import restrictions or fees/duties/treatments. For customers in the USA, US tariffs and duties will be collected at the time of ordering.
